“Swanilda and the Illusion of Freedom”
The work symbolizes the captivity of animals who are often confined in artificial environments, deprived of their natural habitat. Swanilda is trapped in a world that seems to sparkle with possibilities, but in reality is a trap, like a mirror that reflects freedom without ever being able to touch it. She is surrounded by a setting that promises but does not fulfill. An illusion of freedom she cannot reach.
The series “One day at the museum” won a jury award in the prestigious IPA AWARDS 2023.
