The Timeless Wisdom
The old man represents the fragility of aging, silent and expectant. But Kibo, the elephant, dominates space as a symbol of wisdom, strength and a memory that transcends time. While humans often struggle with the fading of memories and experience, Kibo embodies the eternal presence of knowledge and wisdom. The work highlights how we as humans often forget or overlook the value of true wisdom, while it always remains strong and unwaveringly present-as does Kibo in this space.
The series “One day at the museum” won a jury award in the prestigious IPA AWARDS 2023.
